Project Summary
Rete Ecologica Cà Granda is a research project focused on enhancing natural capital, aiming to contribute to the improvement of environmental quality in the most critical areas located between the Parco Lombardo della Valle del Ticino and the Parco dell’Adda Sud. This agricultural landscape is characterized by a high presence of cultivated fields, rice paddies, and networks of waterways.
Through the mapping of ecosystem components and the development of a masterplan framework, the project defines a complex interpretative structure at the local scale. By measuring both the existing conditions and the projected scenarios, it enables the quantification and evaluation of the ecosystem services present in the area
MY ROLE:
Supported spatial and qualitative documentation activities related to ecological restoration and green infrastructure planning.
Assisted in the organization and systematization of project materials and communication outputs.
